From April 29 through May 2, INNOConf and Startup of the Year will take the Big Easy by storm. To be held at the New Orleans Jazz Market in between the two weekends of JazzFest, INNOConf is specifically focused on transforming the way attendees experience conferences by letting them immerse in the magic of NOLA while connecting with accomplished inventors and those who are changing the landscape of their respective communities.
One of the highlights of the inaugural event is Startup of the Year’s Startup Night NOLA Showcase & Celebration. Taking place Tuesday, April 30 at the Ace Hotel New Orleans from 5:30 PM - 8:30 PM, this free event will allow guests to mix, mingle, sip (open bar!) & nibble (free apps!) with ~35 startups from around the world — especially the Gulf South region. Guests will also enjoy watching the Top 5 Startup Night NOLA finalists pitch live from stage to a room full of investors, industry leaders, and VIPs as they compete for a chance to nab one of two fast-track spots to the 7th Annual Startup of the Year Summit in Memphis this October. The winner of Startup Night NOLA will also take home an additional $1,000 and free accommodations for the Summit. New Orleans' own Andrews Family Band will also play, creating the perfect NOLA atmosphere for this can't-miss event!
